These Terms & Conditions govern your use of katiemacstudio.com and any purchases you make from Katie Mac Studio. Throughout these terms, “Katie Mac Studio,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Katie Mac Studio.

By visiting our website, placing an order, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the website or purchase our products.

USE OF THE WEBSITE

You may use this website only for lawful purposes. You agree not to interfere with the website’s operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the website, introduce malicious code, misuse its content, or use it in a way that violates applicable law.

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when placing an order or contacting us. You are responsible for confirming that your billing, shipping, and contact information are correct.

PRODUCTS AND HANDMADE VARIATIONS

Katie Mac Studio jewelry is handmade in small batches. Minor variations in color, shape, size, pattern, stone, pearl, bead, or finish may occur. These natural and handmade variations are part of each item’s character and are not considered defects.

We make reasonable efforts to display product colors and details accurately. However, colors may appear differently depending on your screen, lighting, and device settings.

Product descriptions, prices, photographs, availability, and other website content may be corrected or updated at any time. We cannot guarantee that every description or image will be completely free of errors.

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

Products are subject to availability. Placing an item in your cart does not reserve it.

We may limit product quantities, discontinue products, or cancel an order when an item is unavailable, incorrectly priced, suspected of fraud, or otherwise cannot be fulfilled. If we cancel an order after payment has been processed, we will issue a refund to the original payment method.

ORDERS

Your order is an offer to purchase the products in your cart. An automated order confirmation acknowledges that we received your order but does not guarantee acceptance or fulfillment.

We reserve the right to accept, decline, or cancel an order for legitimate business reasons. These reasons may include product unavailability, pricing or inventory errors, payment problems, suspected fraud, or an inability to ship to the supplied address.

Please review your order carefully before submitting it. If you need to request a change or cancellation, email hello@katiemacstudio.com as soon as possible. Changes and cancellations cannot be guaranteed once processing has begun.

CUSTOM ORDERS

Custom and personalized orders are created according to the details agreed upon between you and Katie Mac Studio. You are responsible for reviewing and approving the design details, colors, sizing, spelling, and other specifications before production begins.

Because custom and personalized items are made specifically for you, they are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive damaged, defective, or materially different from the agreed-upon specifications.

PRICES, PAYMENTS, AND SALES TAX

All prices are shown in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated. Prices may change without notice, but a price change will not affect an order that has already been accepted.

Payment is due when your order is placed. Payments are processed through third-party payment providers available through our Squarespace website. Katie Mac Studio does not directly store your complete payment-card information.

Applicable sales tax will be calculated and collected during checkout based on the order, shipping destination, and applicable law.

Discount codes must be entered during checkout and cannot generally be applied after an order has been submitted. Unless otherwise stated, promotions and discount codes cannot be combined.

SHIPPING

Orders are typically processed within 3–5 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. Processing may take longer during launches, sales, holidays, or other high-volume periods.

Delivery estimates begin after processing and are estimates rather than guarantees. Katie Mac Studio is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather, service interruptions, incorrect addresses, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. If you notice an address error, email hello@katiemacstudio.com immediately. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after an order has been placed.

If a package is returned to us because of an incorrect or incomplete address, refusal, or failure to collect it, additional shipping charges may apply before the order can be resent.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

Eligible items may be returned for a refund when the return is requested within 14 days of delivery. Eligible items may be exchanged when the exchange is requested within 30 days of delivery.

Returned items must be unworn, unused, and in their original condition and packaging. Before returning an item, email hello@katiemacstudio.com with your order number, the item involved, and the reason for the request.

A prepaid return label will be provided for approved returns and exchanges. A $10 return-shipping fee will apply and, for a return, will be deducted from the refund. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method after the returned item has been received and inspected. Exchanges are subject to product availability.

FINAL-SALE ITEMS

Earrings, custom or personalized products, gift cards, and products clearly marked “final sale” cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect. This policy does not limit any rights that cannot legally be waived.

DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, OR INCORRECT ORDERS

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, email hello@katiemacstudio.com within 5 days of delivery. Include your order number and clear photographs of the item and packaging.

Please keep the item and its packaging until we provide further instructions. We will review the information and work with you on an appropriate resolution.

JEWELRY CARE AND SAFETY

Jewelry may contain small parts and is not intended for children. Keep jewelry away from infants, young children, and pets.

Jewelry should be handled with care. Exposure to water, perfume, cosmetics, chemicals, excessive force, or improper storage may cause damage or normal wear. Product care information is provided as general guidance and does not guarantee that an item will remain unchanged over time.

Some jewelry may contain metals or other materials that can cause sensitivities in certain individuals. Please review available product information and contact us before purchasing if you have questions about materials or allergies.

GIFT CARDS

Gift cards are redeemable only through Katie Mac Studio and have no cash value except where required by law. Gift cards cannot be replaced if lost, stolen, or used without permission unless applicable law requires otherwise.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The website and its content—including the Katie Mac Studio name, logos, branding, photographs, product designs, graphics, text, and other original material—are owned by or licensed to Katie Mac Studio and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may view the website and print or save order-related information for personal, noncommercial use. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, publish, commercially exploit, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS

Our website is hosted by Squarespace and may use third-party services for payment processing, shipping, analytics, social media, and other business functions.

The website may contain links to third-party websites. Katie Mac Studio does not control and is not responsible for the content, availability, security, privacy practices, or services of third parties. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that provider’s own terms and policies.

PRIVACY

Our collection and use of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy. By using the website, you acknowledge that you have reviewed that policy.

DISCLAIMERS

We make reasonable efforts to keep the website accurate, secure, and available. However, the website and its content are provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or completely accurate.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes warranties, guarantees, remedies, or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Katie Mac Studio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website or products.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Katie Mac Studio’s total liability for a claim relating to a purchased product will not exceed the amount you paid for that product.

These limitations do not apply where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.

INDEMNIFICATION

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold Katie Mac Studio harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful misuse of the website, violation of these Terms & Conditions, or infringement of another person’s rights.

GOVERNING LAW

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Washington and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Nothing in this section prevents you from exercising consumer rights or bringing a claim in a location permitted by applicable law.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Changes apply from the date they are posted and do not retroactively alter an order that was already completed, except where required by law.

SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

NO WAIVER

If we do not enforce a provision of these Terms & Conditions, that does not waive our right to enforce it later.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms & Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, Returns & Exchanges Policy, and any order-specific terms presented during checkout, form the agreement between you and Katie Mac Studio concerning your use of the website and purchases from us.
